The value of the sentiment indicator was at −4.1 percentage points (p.p.), 1.7 p.p. lower than in September (at −2.4 p.p.).
The sentiment indicator was negatively influenced by four out of five indicators: in services (by 0.8 p.p.), in manufacturing (by 0.5 p.p.), in retail trade (by 0.4 p.p.) and among consumers (by 0.1 p.p.). The construction confidence indicator had no impact.
… and improvement at the annual level
Compared to October last year, the value of the sentiment indicator was higher by 1.2 p.p.
The improvement of the indicator was influenced by three out of five indicators: among consumers (by 0.9 p.p.), in manufacturing (by 0.7 p.p.) and in services (by 0.3 p.p.). On the other hand, lower values of confidence indicators in retail trade and construction (by 0.6 and 0.1 p.p., respectively) had a negative impact.
