The thematic focus of this year’s European Week for Waste Reduction is packaging with a slogan “Do not get wrapped up”. Instead of the generated amount of packaging waste being reduced, it has been increasing in recent years, also due to e-commerce sector being pushed forward.
The European Week for Waste Reduction, which will be held between 18 and 26 November, is the largest and most prestigious environmental protection project in the EU in raising awareness of waste reduction.
