Exports and imports in the first half of 2020 lower than in the same period of 2019
Exports in June 2020 were lower than in June 2019 by 4.2% (amounting to EUR 2,682.4 million) and imports were lower by 5.1% (amounting to EUR 2,562.4 million). In the first half of 2020, exports were 5.6% lower than in the same period of 2019, imports were lower by 10.3%.

Annual inflation at 0.3%, monthly inflation negative at −0.1%
In July 2020 annual inflation was at 0.3%. Service prices went up on average by 2.1%. Goods prices went down on average by 0.8%. Monthly deflation was −0.1%, which is mainly the consequence of the 10.3% drop in the prices of clothing and footwear.

Service and trade production up in May 2020
After two months of significant decline service and trade production grew in May 2020. This was the consequence of easing the epidemic-related restrictions. At the monthly level production grew by 13.6%, but at the annual level it still declined by 18.1%.
