In 2018 in Slovenia, waste was disposed of on 16 landfill sites
There were 412 facilities for waste recycling, 227 facilities for backfilling and 8 facilities for energy recovery in Slovenia in 2018. Waste was disposed of in three incineration plants and landfilled at 16 (legal) landfill sites.

In the first quarter of 2020: decrease in foreign trade, lower corporate investment and stronger household savings
Exports and imports of goods and services decreased, but the surplus with the rest of the world remained high. Lower economic activity and measures to mitigate the effects of the epidemic increased the government deficit, non-financial corporations generated a surplus, households savings increased.

Consumer prices in June 2020 at the annual level decreased on average by 0.3% and at the monthly level increased on average by 1.3%. In the first half of 2020 the prices went up by 0.2% (in the same period last year by 2.4%).

Due to the coronavirus epidemic, service and trade production down in April 2020, too
After the decline in March 2020, service and trade production declined in April 2020 as well and was the lowest in the whole period of index calculation (since January 2010). It was 15.3% lower at the monthly level and 28.4% lower at the annual level.

General government in the first quarter of 2020 with high deficit
General government generated a deficit of EUR 739 million (6.6% of GDP) in the first quarter of this year. Consolidated general government gross debt at the end of the first quarter of 2020 amounted to EUR 33,413 million or 69.6% of GDP.
