In the middle of 2010 about 1,200 people (about 600 men and 600 women) were living in the municipality, which ranks Sveti Andraž v Slov. goricah 203rd among Slovene municipalities. The population density was 69 people per square kilometre, which was lower than the national average of 101 people per square kilometre.
