Municipality Sveta Trojica v Slov. goricah, which is part of the Podravska statistical region, measures 26 km2; this ranks it 188th among Slovene municipalities.

In the middle of 2009 about 2,200 people (about 1,100 men and 1,100 women) were living in the municipality, which ranks Sveta Trojica v Slov. goricah 180th among Slovene municipalities. The population density was 85 people per square kilometre, which was lower than the national average of 101 people per square kilometre.
