Average gross earnings at registered natural persons higher in both nominal and real terms
Compared to earnings for June, average gross earnings for July 2025 were slightly higher in both nominal and real terms. They also increased year-on-year.

Average gross earnings of persons in paid employment by registered natural persons for July of this year amounted to EUR 1,577.69. In nominal terms they were 1.0% and in real terms 0.5% higher than earnings for June. Average net earnings amounted to EUR 1,036.42 and were lower in nominal terms by 0.2% and in real terms by 0.7%.
Compared to July last year, gross earnings increased on average in nominal terms by 5.5% and in real terms by 2.6%.
The highest in human health and social work activities
On average, the highest earnings for July were paid to employees in human health and social work activities (EUR 2,059.66 gross and EUR 1,330.42 net), followed by mining and quarrying. The lowest earnings were received in arts, entertainment and recreation (EUR 1,220.95 gross and EUR 812.45 net).
Compared to June, the highest growth of average gross earnings was recorded in real estate activities (by 3.7%).

When calculating the growth rates of average gross and net earnings, data on average earnings from the REK-O form are used as the basis for the comparison for the period from January 2024 on.
Data are not seasonally and calendar adjusted.
