Producer prices of agricultural products higher year-on-year
At the annual level, producer prices of agricultural products increased on average by 4.2% and the value of purchased agricultural products by 10.8%.
Producer prices of milk and cattle up
Compared to November 2023, producer prices of agricultural products went up on average by 4.2%.
The prices of animals and animal products increased by 6.8%. The value increased mostly due to higher prices of cattle (by 14.0%) and milk (by 11.4%). Also higher was the price of eggs. On the other hand, pig prices were lower by 10,4% and poultry prices by 5.9%.
The prices of crop products went up by 1.2%. Cereal prices were higher by 22.3%, wine prices by 11.0% and vegetable prices by 4.6%. On the other hand, potato prices decreased by 28.7% and fruit prices by 7.7%.

The value of purchased agricultural products increased at the annual level by 10.8%.
In the group arable farming, the value of purchase increased by 15.7%. The value of purchased potato increased by a fifth and of vegetables by 7.5%. The value of purchased cereals was lower by a tenth.
The value of purchase in the group livestock breeding went up by 12.7%. The value of purchased livestock increased by 21.2% and of milk by 16.1%. On the other hand, the values of purchased poultry and eggs were lower.
The value of purchase in the group arable farming decreased by 3.1%. The value of purchased alcoholic beverages went down by 14.7%. The value of purchased fruit decreased by 11.2% due to lower prices.
