Producer prices of cattle higher year-on-year
At the annual level, producer prices of agricultural products were on average higher by 8.9%. The value of purchased agricultural products went up by 18.7%.
Producer prices of cattle substantially higher
Producer prices of agricultural products were higher on average by 8.9%.
The prices of animals and animal products increased by 11.1%. The prices of animals for slaughter were higher by 12.6%, of that most substantially the prices of cattle (almost by a quarter). Animal products were 9.4% more expensive.
The prices of crop products increased by 4.1%. Vegetable prices were higher by 14.1% and wine prices by 9.7%. On the other hand, the prices of potato decreased by 19.0% and of fruit by 16.6%.
Value of purchased eggs up
The total value of purchased agricultural products increased by 18.7%.
In the group livestock breeding, the value of purchase was higher by a fifth. The value of purchased eggs went up the most (by 39.9%). It increased due to the higher quantity of purchased eggs during Easter holidays. Also higher were the values of purchased livestock, milk and poultry.
The value of purchase in the group fruit and wine growing went up by 22.3%. In comparison with the previous year, the value of fruit and vine plants was significantly higher (by two thirds). Higher were both the quantity as well as the prices of plants. The value of purchased fruit increased by 17.5% and of alcoholic beverages by 13.3%.
The value of purchase in the group arable farming went down by 15.9%. The value of purchased cereals was almost a third lower due a decrease in the quantity purchased. Lower was also the value of purchased vegetables, while the value of purchased potato was higher.
