Consumer sentiment slightly down
The value of the consumer confidence indicator in June was 1 percentage point lower than in the previous month.
At the monthly level slightly down
The consumer confidence indicator deteriorated by 1 percentage point (p.p.) compared to the previous month.
Among the indicator’s components, consumers’ expectations about the country’s economy deteriorated by 3 p.p., expectations for major purchases by 2 p.p., and opinions on current households’ finances also by 2 p.p. Only expectations about households’ finances improved (by 2 p.p.).
Lower also year-on-year
Compared to last year’s June, the value of the consumer confidence indicator was 2 p.p. lower.
At the annual level, expectations about the country’s economy deteriorated by 9 p.p., while expectations about households’ finances improved by 1 p.p. The other two indicators – current households’ finances and expectations for major purchases – remained at the same level.

METHODOLOGICAL NOTE
The release was prepared based on seasonally and calendar adjusted data, and calendar adjusted data. When comparing the reference month with the previous month, we use seasonally and calendar adjusted data. When comparing with the same period of the previous year, we use calendar adjusted data.
Time series are directly seasonally adjusted, which means that for every time series its own model is set up. Because the models are not mutually linked, possible links that are present in original data of several time series do not apply for results of seasonal adjustment of these time series.
The data are based on the Consumer Survey, which was answered by 771 persons between 1 and 15 July 2025.
