In September 2024, the ILO unemployment rate was higher than the month before.
The monthly ILO unemployment rate was at 3.4% in September 2024, by 0.1 of a percentage point higher than in August 2024 and by 0.3 of a percentage point lower than in September 2023.
We estimate that there were 35,000 unemployed persons in the age group 15–74 in September 2024, of whom 55% were men and 45% were women. The unemployment rate among men was 3.5% and among women 3.4%.
