In July 2024, the ILO unemployment rate was lower than the month before.
The monthly ILO unemployment rate was at 3.3% in July 2024, by 0.1 of a percentage point lower than in June 2024 and by 0.5 of a percentage point lower than in July 2023.
We estimate that there were 34,000 unemployed persons in the age group 15–74 in July 2024, of whom 54% were men and 46% were women. The unemployment rate among men was 3.3% and among women 3.4%.
