Turnover from the sale of services slightly higher than a month ago

In September 2023, turnover from the sale of services was higher at the monthly level (by 0.8%) as well as at the annual level (by 7.0%).

At the monthly level the largest growth in accommodation and food service activities

Turnover from the sale of services increased by 0.8% compared to August. It went up the most in accommodation and food service activities (by 6.6%). It was also higher in administrative and support service activities (by 4.5%) and in transportation and storage activities (by 1.5%). On the other hand, it was lower in professional, scientific and technical activities (by 5.3%) and in real estate activities (by 1.0%). In information and communication activities it remained the same as in the previous month.

In accommodation and food service activities the largest growth also at the annual level

Turnover from the sale of services was 7.0% higher than a year ago. It increased the most in accommodation and food service activities (by 23.7%). It was also higher in administrative and support service activities (by 22.5%), in professional, scientific and technical activities (by 12.1%), in real estate activities (by 6.2%) and in information and communication activities (by 5.0%). On the other hand, it was lower only in transportation and storage activities (by 2.5%).

In the first nine months of this year, turnover from the sale of services was 8.8% higher than in the same period last year. It was higher in all observed groups of service activities, the most in administrative and support service activities (by 21.9%).
