After three month the number of bankruptcies up

The number of bankruptcies went up monthly by 28.0% and of registrations down by 0.2%. Quarterly the number of bankruptcies increased the most in education, health, social work, arts and other service activities except. activities of membership organisations (by 74.7%).

Fewer registrations both monthly and quarterly

Compared to August, the number of registrations decreased by 0.2%. Compared to September 2022 and the average of 2015, it increased by 2.1% and 15.3%, respectively.
 
Compared to the previous quarter, the number went down by 3.7%. Compared to the same quarter of 2022 and to the 2015 average, it increased by 1.1% and 15.1%, respectively. 

Among all observed activities, in all comparisons the growth was the highest in construction (compared to the previous quarter by 7.8%, compared to the same quarter a year ago by 8.8% and compared to the 2015 average by 54.1%).

In comparison to the previous quarter, the number went down the most in accommodation and food service activities (by 10.9%) and in comparison to the 2015 average in wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (by 28.4%).

Monthly the number of bankruptcies went up by more than a quarter 

After three months of decline, the number of bankruptcies went up by 28.0%. Compared to September 2022 and the 2015 average it declined by 3.0% and 27.6%, respectively.

At the quarterly level, the number went down compared to the previous quarter by 17.5%, compared to the same quarter a year earlier by 4.7% and compared to the 2015 average by 31.1%.

Compared to the previous quarter and the 3rd quarter of 2022, the number went up the most in education, health, social work, arts and other service activities except activities of membership organisations (by 74.7% and 125.0%). Compared to the 2015 average, it went up only in transportation and storage (by 33.3%).

Compared to the previous quarter and to the same quarter a year ago, the number went down the most in construction (by 44.4% and 28.6%). Compared to the 2015 average, it went down the most in financial, insurance, real estate activities, professional and other business activities (by 56.1%), followed by information and communication (by 44.8%) and construction (by 40.6%).
