Natural gas and electricity prices higher

Average natural gas prices for household consumers in Slovenia in the third quarter of 2022 increased by 22%, while electricity prices for households increased by 31%.

Average natural gas prices increased by one fifth

The average natural gas price for household consumers in Slovenia in the third quarter of 2022 increased by 22% when compared to the second quarter of 2022 and was 0.094 EUR/kWh. During the same period the average natural gas price without value added tax for non-household consumers increased by 19%; it accounted to 0.075 EUR/kWh.

Electricity prices for non-households increased by 25%

The average electricity prices for household consumers in the third quarter of 2022 increased by 31% when compared to the previous quarter and was 0.205 EUR/kWh. During that period the average electricity price for non-household consumers increased by 25%; it was 0.204 EUR/kWh.

The natural gas and electricity prices in the first, second and third quarter of 2022 were partly affected by the measures taken to mitigate the consequences of the impact of high energy prices, which temporarily reduced or eliminated certain levies.
