In Slovenia inflation is measured with the consumer price index with which we measure changes in retail prices of goods and services from the point of view of the expenditure structure, which the resident population intends for final consumption at home and abroad.

Young people in Slovenia like to study. About half of 20–24-year-olds in Slovenia are students. In academic year 2018/19 there were about 76,000 students enrolled in tertiary education, almost 19,000 for the first time. Just over a half of students successfully complete tertiary education.

September exports and imports of Slovenia in 2019 higher than in 2018
In September 2019, Slovenia exported EUR 2,963.1 million and imported EUR 2,934.1 million of goods. In comparison with September 2018, growth was recorded in both trade flows and with both groups of countries. In the first nine months of 2019 combined, the export/import ratio was 99.9%.

In 2018, 21% of enterprises with 10 or more persons employed generated turnover with web sales in Slovenia. In retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles enterprises generated around EUR 222 million turnover with web sales; 84% with web sales to private consumers.
