In September 2018, almost 5,500 persons in employment more than in the previous month
In September 2018, the number of persons in employment increased by 0.6% compared to the previous month. Compared to August 2017, it increased by 2.9% (to around 877,900). The largest increase was recorded in education.

Average gross earnings for September 2018 amounted to EUR 1,632.88 and were lower than earnings for August 2018; in nominal terms by 2.2% and in real terms by 2.6%. Average monthly gross earnings for the first nine months of 2018 increased in real terms by 1.7% (compared to the same period of 2017).

The prices of agricultural products in September 2018 on average 6.9% lower than in September 2017
In September 2018 the prices of agricultural products were on average 6.9% lower than in September 2017. The prices of crop products were on average lower by 10.6% and the prices of animals and animal products by 2.4%.

Lower self-sufficiency rates in cereals, potato, vegetables, fruits, eggs and honey
In 2017 Slovene citizen consumed on average the most cereals, i.e. 121 kg, and vegetables, i.e. 114 kg; Slovene citizen also consumed 93 kg of meat, 72 kg of of fresh fruits, 68 kg of potato, 12 kg of eggs and 5 kg of rice, and drank 39 litres of wine.

In the third quarter of 2018 around 500 fewer job vacancies and 3,300 more occupied posts were recorded
In the third quarter of 2018 around 500 fewer job vacancies were recorded in Slovenia than in the previous quarter. The number of occupied posts increased by almost 3,300, consequently the job vacancy rate went down by 0.1 of a percentage point.
