At the end of July/beginning of August 2021, 25% of employed persons absent from work all days in the week
By the end of July/beginning of August, the share of employed persons who were absent from work increased to 25%. By mid-August, it decreased again. The share of employed persons who were not absent from work and worked from home at least one day in the week decreased to 11%.
At the end of July/beginning of August, 25% of employed persons absent from work
During the summer holidays, at the end of July/beginning of August 2021, 25% of employed persons were absent from work all days in the week. By mid-August, the share decreased by 6 percentage points (to 19%). Due to the higher share of absent from work, the share of employed persons who worked all days in the week at the employer’s location also decreased, i.e. to two thirds of employed persons at the end of July/beginning of August.
If we take into consideration only employed persons who were not absent from work, in mid-July 87% of them worked all days in the week at the employer’s location. Every following 14-day period the share increased by one percentage point. In mid-August it was 89%. The share of employed persons who were not absent from work and worked all days in the week from home remained at the same level from mid-July to mid-August (4%), while the share of those who worked partially on location and partially from home decreased (from mid-July to mid-August by 2 percentage points).
