Average gross earnings for March 2021 3.3% higher than earnings for February 2021

Average gross earnings for March 2021 amounted to EUR 2,009.50. They were higher than earnings for February 2021, in nominal terms by 3.3% and in real terms by 3.0%. They were the highest in financial and insurance activities.

Average earnings for March 2021 higher than earnings for February 2021
Average gross earnings for March 2021 amounted to EUR 2,009.50. Compared to gross earnings for February 2021, they were higher in nominal terms by 3.3% and in real terms by 3.0%. Average net earnings for March 2021 amounted to EUR 1,290.97 and were higher than net earnings for February 2021, in nominal terms by 3.0% and in real terms by 2.7%.

Compared to earnings for February 2021, average gross earnings for March 2021 increased in both sectors, in the public sector by 4.1% (in the institutional sector general government they increased by 2.1%) and in the private sector by 2.8%.

Average earnings for March 2021 the highest in financial and insurance activities
Compared to earnings for February 2021, average gross earnings for March 2021 increased the most in financial and insurance activities (by 32.0%; mainly due to higher extra payments), while they decreased the most in other service activities (by 0.9%).

The highest average gross earnings for March 2021 were also paid in financial and insurance activities (EUR 3,344.52).

Compared to earnings for February 2021, average gross earnings for March 2021 increased in all statistical regions; the most in the Pomurska statistical region (by 6.7%) and the least in the Osrednjeslovenska statistical region (by 2.1%).

Average gross earnings for March 2021 were the highest in the Osrednjeslovenska statistical region (EUR 2,249.67) and the lowest in the Primorsko-notranjska statistical region (EUR 1,740.94).
