In March 2021, the ILO unemployment rate was lower than in February 2021 but higher than in March 2020.

The monthly ILO unemployment rate was at 4.8% in March 2021, by 0.1 of a percentage point lower than February 2021 and at the same time went slightly up from 4.5% in March 2020.
We estimate that there were 50,000 unemployed persons in the age group 15–74 in March 2021, of whom 48% were men and 52% were women. In March 2021, the unemployment rate among men was 4.3% and among women 5.4%
