Services producer prices in 2020 on average 0.8% higher than in 2019

In 2020, compared to 2019, services producer prices increased on average by 0.8%. In the last year prices increased the most in sea and coastal water transport (by 51.8%) and decreased the most in travel agency, tour operator reservation service and related activities (by 9.1%).

In 2020, services producer prices 0.8% higher than a year before
In 2020, services producer prices were on average 0.8% higher than in 2019. This is the fifth consecutive annual price increase; in 2016 they increased by 0.9% over the previous year, in 2017 by 1.6%, in 2018 by 1.5% and in 2019 by 3.8%.

In one year prices increased the most in sea and coastal water transport (by 51.8%), followed by employment activities (by 8.1%), and security and investigation activities (by 7.9%). Prices decreased the most in travel agency, tour operator reservation service and related activities (by 9.1%), followed by air transport (by 7.1%), and other professional, scientific and technical activities (by 4.9%).

In the 4^th quarter of 2020, services producer prices 0.3% higher than in the previous quarter

In the 4^th quarter of 2020, services producer prices were on average 0.3% higher than in the 3^rd quarter of 2020. As at the annual level, at the quarterly level, too, prices increased the most in sea and coastal water transport (by 50.9%), followed by motion picture, video and television programme production, sound recording and music publishing activities (by 3.2%), and warehousing and support activities for transportation (by 1.7%). Prices decreased the most in rental and leasing activities (by 8.8%), followed by accommodation (by 7.5%), and travel agency, tour operator reservation service and related activities (by 7.2%).
