In 2020 the output prices decreased by 0.2%

In 2020 the output prices decreased by 0.2%. In this year prices went up the most in water collection, treatment and supply (by 11.3%), and down the most in manufacture of wood, products of wood and cork (by 3.4%) and in manufacture of coke and petroleum products (by 3.3%).

The output prices 0.2% lower than in 2019

In 2020 the output prices decreased by 0.2% (in 2019 the prices increased by 0.6%). In the same period the output prices on the domestic market increased by 1.0% and the output prices on the non-domestic market decreased by 1.4%.

The prices of industrial products sold on the markets of the euro area countries decreased on average by 1.2% and of the non-euro area on average by 1.8%.

Among the groups of activities showing the dynamics of prices by end-use of products, in 2020 intermediate goods prices decreased by 1.5%, while energy prices increased by 3.0%, consumer goods prices by 0.5% and capital goods prices by 0.9%.

In this year prices went up the most in water collection, treatment and supply (by 11.3%), and down the most in manufacture of wood, products of wood and cork (by 3.4%) and in manufacture of coke and petroleum products (by 3.3%).

In December 2020 the output prices equal on average at the monthly level

Compared to November 2020, in December 2020 the output prices did not change. The prices of manufactured goods sold on the domestic market did not change, while the prices of exported products decreased by 0.1%.

The prices of industrial products sold on the markets of the euro area countries decreased on average by 0.1%, the prices on the markets of the non-euro area on average decreased by 0.1%.

Among the groups of activities showing the dynamics of prices by end-use of products,

intermediate goods prices decreased by 0.2%, energy prices by 0.2% and consumer goods prices by 0.1%, while capital goods prices increased by 0.3%.

 

Compared to the previous month, output prices decreased the most in manufacture of leather and leather products (by 4.5%) and in manufacture of chemicals and chemical products (by 2.9%) and increased the most in manufacture of basic metals (by 2.2%).
