Agricultural input prices at the monthly level higher by 0.1% but lower at the annual level by 2.1%

In July 2020 agricultural input prices were on average by 0.1% higher than in June 2020 and by 2.1% lower than in July 2019.

In July 2020 sligthly price increase of the goods and services currently consumed in agriculture 
Compared to June 2020, in July 2020 the prices of the goods and services currently consumed in agriculture slightly increased (on average by 0.1%), while compared to July 2019 they were lower by 3.9%.

Lower prices of fertilizers and animal feedingstuffs
Among the goods and services currently consumed in agriculture in July 2020 compared to June 2020 prices of animal feedingstuffs and prices of fertilizers decreased (on average, first by 0.5% and the last by 0.4%).

In the group animal feedingstuffs in July 2020 compared to the previous month only prices of straight feedingstuffs decreased (on average by 4.4%), while prices of compound feedingstuffs did not change.

As regards the straight feedingstuffs, prices of other straight feedingstuffs decreased on average by 13.8% (lower prices of soya), by 1.3% were lower prices of cereals and milling by-products, while prices of products of animal origin did not change.

Price increases of some groups at the monthly level
Compared to June 2020, in July 2020 we recorded on average higher prices in the groups: energy and lubricants (by 1.3%), maintenance of buildings (by 0.2%), maintenance of materials and of other goods and services (by 0.1%).

In the group energy and lubricants in July 2020 compared to the previous month only prices of fuels increased (prices of fuels for heating by 10.6% and prices of motor fuels by 0.2%), while prices of electricity and lubricants remained the same as in the previous month.

In July 2020 on average unchanged the prices of the goods and services contributing to agricultural investment 
The prices of the goods and services contributing to agricultural investment were in July 2020 on average the same as in the previous month, while compared to July 2019 they were higher on average by 1.6%.

Higher prices of materials and lower prices of buildings
In comparison with June 2020, in July 2020 the prices of materials increased on average by 0.2%, while the prices of buildings decreased on average by 0.4%.

In the group materials the prices of transport equipment increased on average by 0.3%, while prices of machinery and other equipment remained on average the same as in the previous month.
