In Slovenian ports 8% more passengers than a year ago

In December 2019, 21% fewer passenger than in December 2018 travelled through Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport. In the same comparison almost 19% more passenger cars were registered for the first time.

Interurban and international coaches in December 2019 carried more passengers than in December 2018
Buses in urban scheduled transport carried more than 5 million passengers in December 2019, 0.1% more than a year ago. Around 2 million passengers were carried by coaches in public scheduled transport (interurban and international), 11% more than in December 2018. 48 million passenger-kilometres were made by buses, almost 10% more than in December 2018.

In air transport less goods handled than a year ago
In December 2019, about 85,500 passengers travelled through Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, 21% fewer than in December 2018. In December 2019, 2% less goods were handled compared to December 2018.

Traffic of passengers in ports in 2019 up by 8% over the previous year
More than 143,500 passengers were recorded in Slovenian ports in 2019, 8% more than in 2018. In the Port of Koper just over 1 million tonnes of goods were handled in December 2019, 31% less than in December 2018.

In Slovenia more motor vehicles registered for the first time than in December 2018

In December 2019, about 8,800 road motor vehicles were registered for the first time in Slovenia, about 13% more than in December 2018. More than 7,000 passenger cars were registered for the first time, almost 19% more than in December 2018.
