Fruit prices on average much higher than in November 2018
In November 2019 the prices of crop products were on average 12.0% higher than in November 2018. The increase was caused mostly by higher prices of fruit; much higher were also the prices of potato. The vegetable prices increased on average by 3.5%. The cereals prices were lower on average by 18.8% (the average price of grain maize went down the most), the prices of plants and flowers by 8.6% and wine prices by 7.7 %
The prices of pigs for slaughter much higher than a year before
In November 2019 the prices of animals and animal products were on average 4.6% higher than in November 2018. The prices of animals for slaughter went up on average by 4.2%. The increase was caused mostly by higher prices of pigs, which were 32.6% higher than a year before. Higher were also the prices of poultry (on average by 2.1%), while the prices of cattle were on average 1.5% lower. In November 2019 the average milk price increased by 4.0% and the average egg price by 4.2%.
