In September 2019, 5% more new passenger cars registered in Slovenia for the first time than in September 2018

Buses on public scheduled services made around 48 million passenger-kilometres, which is 7% more than in September 2018. In air transport fewer passengers were recorded than in September 2018.

Interurban and international coaches carried more passengers than a year ago
Buses in urban scheduled transport carried more than 4 million passengers in September 2019, 0,5% more than a year ago.
Around 2 million passengers were carried by buses in public scheduled transport (interurban and international), 5% more than in September 2018. 48 million passenger-kilometres were made by buses, almost 7% more than in September 2018.

In air transport fewer passengers than in September 2018
In September 2019, about 171,900 passengers travelled through Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, 10% fewer than in September 2018.

In port traffic fewer goods handled than a year ago
Over 21,600 passengers were recorded in Slovenian ports in September 2019, 1% more than in September 2018.
In the Port of Koper almost 2 million tonnes of goods were handled in September 2019, 7% fewer than in September 2018.

In Slovenia more passenger cars registered for the first time
In September 2019, about 10,300 road motor vehicles were registered for the first time in Slovenia, about 0.5% fewer than in September 2018. Almost 7,900 passenger cars were registered for the first time, almost 1% more than in September 2018. Of these, almost 5,300 were new, 5% more than in September 2018.

Data on road public scheduled transport for the last 12 months are provisional. With each release the data for the last 12 months can be corrected and supplemented with new data.

Port traffic data for the current year are provisional. The final data will be published at the end of September, with an annual release.

From September 2019 onwards we will no longer publish air traffic data due to the termination of the only Slovenian air carrier.
