SURS was awarded the Brumen recognition for quality design for its exhibition of infographics that was prepared for the celebration of its 75th anniversary. The 2nd term for the display of the exhibition of infographics is from 17th Oct. to 19th Nov. 2019 in Ljubljana.
In 2019, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia (SURS) celebrates its 75th anniversary. The central event of the celebration is the exhibition of infographics at the Krakovski nasip embankment in Ljubljana. It is entitled Statistically Speaking and comprises a series of 22 posters presenting some selected stories on Slovenia and also on its residents that are written in the language of official statistics. They present also a more entertaining side of statistics, which will perhaps dispel the stereotype of statisticians always being serious.
The exhibition was already on display from 19th Aug. to 2nd Sept. 2019 and the feedback on the exhibition was really good. SURS and Statistically Speaking entered the 9th Brumen Biennial and were awarded recognition for national quality design by the internationally acclaimed jury. This ranked SURS on the 9th Brumen Biennial, where SURS will run for the Brumen Award and the Brumen Grand Award.
The 2nd term for the display of the exhibition of infographics is between 17th Oct. and 19th Nov. 2019, at the Krakovski nasip embankment in Ljubljana.
