In June 2019, more than 24,000 passengers were recorded in Slovenian ports; most of them were cruise passengers. In June 2019, about 188,600 passengers were recorded at Ljubljana airport.
Buses in urban public transport and interurban and international coaches carried fewer passengers than a year ago
In June 2019, 2.0 million passengers were carried by buses in public scheduled transport (interurban and international), which is 7% fewer than in June 2018. 38.1 million passenger-kilometres were made by these buses in June 2019, almost the same as in June 2018.
Buses in urban scheduled public transport carried 4.0 million passengers in June 2019, which is 4% fewer than in June 2018.
In airport traffic more passengers than in a year ago
In June 2019, 188,600 passengers travelled through Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, 7% more than in June 2018.
The biggest Slovenian air carrier transported about 120,600 passengers, 3% fewer than in June 2019. With its planes 105.6 million passenger-kilometres were performed (i.e. 17% fewer in the same comparison).
In port traffic more passengers than a year ago
In June 2019, more than 24,000 passengers were recorded in Slovenian ports, which is 34% more than in June 2018. Most of them were cruise passengers.
In the Port of Koper almost 1.9 million tonnes of goods were handled in June 2019, 5% more than in June 2018.
In Slovenia 9,800 passenger cars registered for the first time
In June 2019, about 13,200 road motor vehicles were registered for the first time in Slovenia. Almost 9,800 were passenger cars registered for the first time, 6% fewer than in June 2018.

3) The data on passengers and passenger-km in public scheduled transport and data on passengers in urban scheduled transport from September 2016 on have been partly estimated due to the introduction of a new integrated public transport system (IJPP) and the new system of subsidised tickets for public transport (the estimates were prepared by the Ministry of Infrastructure).
Data on road public scheduled transport for the last 12 months are provisional. With each release the data for the last 12 months can be corrected and supplemented with new data.
