In April 2019, 4% more passengers carried by urban buses than a year ago

In April 2019, in public interurban and international scheduled transport 3% fewer passengers were carried than a year ago.

Urban buses carried more passengers than a year ago
Buses in urban scheduled transport carried 5.3 million passengers in April 2019, which is 4% more than in April 2018.
In April 2019, more than 2.6 million passengers were carried by buses in public scheduled transport (interurban and international), which is 3% fewer than in April 2018. 50.1 million passenger-kilometres were made by buses in April 2019, which is 1% more than in April 2018.

In airport traffic about the same number of passengers as a year ago
In April 2019, about 158,400 passengers travelled through Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, about the same as in April 2018.
The biggest Slovenian air carrier transported about 101,200 passengers, 5% fewer than in April 2018. With its planes 85 million passenger-kilometres were performed (i.e. 13% fewer in the same comparison).
 
In port traffic more passengers and more goods than a year ago
In April 2019, almost 8,100 passengers were recorded in Slovenian ports, which is 13% more than in April 2018. 91% of them were cruise passengers.
In the Port of Koper 2 million tonnes of goods were handled in April 2019, 18% more than in April 2018.

In Slovenia almost 13,000 road motor vehicles registered for the first time
In April 2019, almost 13,000 road motor vehicles were registered for the first time in Slovenia. Slightly more than 9,300 were passenger cars registered for the first time, which is 1% fewer than in April 2018. 

6,350 passenger cars registered for the first time in Slovenia were new
According to seasonally adjusted data, the number of new passenger cars registered for the first time in April 2019 was 6% lower than in March 2019.
According to working-day adjusted data, the number of new passenger cars registered for the first time in April 2019 was 12% lower than in April 2018.
