Investments in transportation and storage represented 5% of net sales revenues

Capital intensity in manufacturing was the highest in the period since 2014. Labour costs represented 19% of operating expenses.

Transportation and storage with operating revenues 10% higher than operating expenses

Transportation and storage recorded operating profit in the 1st quarter of 2019; operating revenues were 10% higher than operating expenses. In the period since 2014 they generated the highest share of net sales revenues with sales on the foreign market; the export orientation indicator was 46%. Investments represented the lowest share of net sales revenues in the period since 2014, the share was 5%.

Trade generated 22% of net sales revenues from sales on the foreign market

Operating revenues in trade were 3% higher than operating expenses. 22% of net sales revenues were generated from sales on the foreign market. Labour costs represented 7% of operating expenses and investments represented 2% of net sales revenues. 

In manufacturing operating revenues higher than operating expenses

In manufacturing operating revenues were 7% higher than operating expenses. Investments represented 5% of net sales revenues. 75% of net sales revenues were generated with sales on the foreign market. Capital intensity was the highest in the period since 2014. Labour costs represented 19% of operating expenses.
