Buses carried fewer passengers than a year ago
In March 2019, more than 2.8 million passengers were carried by buses in public scheduled transport (interurban and international), which is 6% fewer than in March 2018. 55.8 million passenger-kilometres were made by buses in March 2019, which is 2% less than in March 2018.
Buses in urban scheduled transport carried 5.8 million passengers in March 2019, which is 11% fewer than in March 2018.
In airport traffic more passengers than a year ago
In March 2019, about 133,400 passengers travelled through Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, 3% more than in March 2018.
The biggest Slovenian air carrier transported about 81,100 passengers, 8% fewer than in March 2018. With its planes 51.6 million passenger-kilometres were performed (i.e. 35% fewer in the same comparison).
In port traffic less goods handled than a year ago
In the Port of Koper 1.9 million tonnes of goods were handled in March 2019, 1% less than in March 2018.
Almost 7,300 new passenger cars registered for the first time
In March 2019, slightly more than 10,500 passenger cars were registered for the first time in Slovenia; almost 7,300 of them were new.
