Construction costs for new residential buildings in the third quarter of 2018 higher than in the previous one
In the third quarter of 2018 construction costs for new residential buildings in Slovenia were higher than in the previous quarter and higher than in the third quarter of 2017.
Construction costs for new residential buildings in the third quarter of 2018 higher than in the previous quarter
Construction costs in the third quarter of 2018 were 1.5% higher than in the previous quarter. They were 3.8% higher than in the third quarter of 2017 and 8.0% higher than the 2015 average. In the first three quarters of this year they were 3.6% higher than in the first three quarters of the previous year.
Construction material costs higher than in the previous quarter
Construction material costs increased again over the previous quarter, this time by 0.8%. Compared to the third quarter of 2017 they increased by 3.1% and compared to the 2015 average by 5.3%. In the first three quarters of this year they were 2.7% higher than in the first three quarters of the previous year.
Labour costs higher than in the previous quarter
Labour costs increased over the previous quarter for the second time in a row, this time by 2.3%. Compared to the third quarter of 2017 they increased by 3.9% and compared to the 2015 average they were 11.3% higher. In the first three quarters of this year they were 4.1% higher than in the first three quarters of the previous year.
