The sentiment indicator continues to grow
In November 2017 the sentiment indicator was 0.6 of a percentage point higher at the monthly level and 8.2 percentage points higher at the annual level.
Sentiment indicator higher at the monthly level
In November 2017 the sentiment indicator (16.1 percentage points) was 0.6 of a percentage point (p.p.) higher than in October 2017 (15.5 p.p.) and 18.5 p.p. above the long-term average.
The rise of the sentiment indicator at the monthly level was influenced by the confidence indicators in manufacturing (by 0.5 p.p.), services (by 0.5 p.p.) and retail trade (by 0.1 p.p.), while the construction confidence indicator and the consumer confidence indicator had a negative influence (by 0.4 p.p. and 0.1 p.p., respectively).

The rise of the sentiment indicator was mostly influenced by the confidence indicators in manufacturing (by 2.8 p.p.), in services (by 2.2 p.p.) and among consumers (by 2.0 p.p.). The confidence indicators in construction and in retail trade had less impact (by 0.7 p.p. and 0.6 p.p., respectively).
