In comparison with July 2017, the value of construction put in place in August 2017 decreased by 3.5%. As regards buildings it went down by 14.0%, while as regards civil engineering it went up by 0.2%. This was the second consecutive monthly decrease in the value of construction put in place over the previous month; in July it decreased by 7.7%.
The value of construction put in place in August 2017 higher than in August 2016
In comparison with August 2016, the value of construction put in place in August 2017 increased by 7.6%. As regards buildings it went up by 3.0% and as regards civil engineering by 10.0%.
The value of construction put in place in the first eight months of 2017 higher than in the same period of 2016
The value of construction put in place in the first eight months of 2017 increased by 15.5% compared to the same period of the previous year. As regards buildings it went up by 28.7% and as regards civil engineering by 10.9%.
The value of construction put in place in August 2017 more than 40% lower than the 2010 average value
The value of construction put in place in August 2017 decreased by 40.8% over the 2010 average value. As regards buildings it went down by 57.6% and as regards civil engineering by 30.0%.
