In July total consumption of electricity increased by 3% over the same period one year ago
Compared with previous month production of electricity in July 2017 increased by 13% and supply of energy commodities also increased.
Increase of total net electricity generation in July compared to June
In July 2017 total net electricity generation was 1305 GWh, compared to June 2017 increased by 13% and consumption was 1158 GWh, compared to June 2017 decreased by 1%. Hydro power plants generation decreased by 6%, generation in the thermal power plants increased by 51% and nuclear power plant increased by 3%.
In line with the higher production in thermal power plants, fuel consumption in July 2017 also increased by 47%.
In July 2017, 693 GWh of electricity was imported and 814 GWh was exported.
Increase of energy supply in July 2017
In July 2017 supply of energy commodities in general went up with exception of Other Petroleum Products supply fell with 15% and Natural Gas supply fell with 3%. Compared with previous month we further noticed supply rise as 54% with Lignite and Brown Coal, 30% with Heating and Other Gasoil, 26% with Kerosene Jet Fuel and 4% with Coke Oven Coke.
