The value of roundwood purchased in April 2017 5% lower than in April 2016
Roundwood purchased from private owners in April 2017 was worth EUR 5.4 million; the value was more than 12% lower than in March 2017 and more than 5% lower than in April 2016.
The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in April 2017 lower than in the previous month
Roundwood purchased from private owners in April 2017 was worth EUR 5.4 million, which is more than 12% less than in the previous month (mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood). The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by 13%, of pulpwood by 11% and of wood fuel by about 22%. The value of purchased other industrial roundwood was higher by 9%.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in April 2017 was about 5% lower than in April 2016, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 8% and of wood fuel by 13%. The value of purchased pulpwood and of other industrial roundwood was higher by about 6% and 110%, respectively.
