Construction costs for new residential buildings in the third quarter of 2016 higher than in the previous one
In the third quarter of 2016 construction costs for new residential buildings in Slovenia were higher than in the previous quarter and lower than in the third quarter of 2015.

As usual, in the third quarter of the year construction costs for new residential buildings were higher than in the second quarter of the year. This time they increased by 1.7%. Construction costs were 1.5% lower than in the third quarter of 2015 and 0.9% higher than the 2010 average. In the first three quarter of this year, they were 2.4% lower than in the same period of the previous year.
Construction material costs higher than in the previous quarter
Construction material costs increased over the previous quarter for the second time in a row, this time by 0.5%. Compared to the third quarter of 2015 they decreased by 1.2%, but compared to the 2010 average they were 5.4% higher. In the first three quarters of this year, they were 2.1% lower than in the same period of the previous year.
Labour costs in the third quarter of 2016 higher than in the previous quarter
Labour costs in the third quarter of 2016 were 3.4% higher than in the second quarter of 2016. Compared to the third quarter of 2015 they decreased by 1.5% and were 2.6% lower in the first three quarters of this year than in the same period of the previous year. Compared to the average of 2010 they were 4.5% lower.
