In November 2015 fewer building permits issued and fewer dwellings planned than in October 2015
In November 2015, 14.3% fewer building permits were issued and 11.8% fewer dwellings were planned than in October 2015.
Fewer building permits issued
In November 2015, 402 building permits were issued in Slovenia, which is 14.3% fewer than in October 2015. 205 building permits were issued for residential buildings, which is 6.4% fewer than in the previous month, and 197 building permits were issued for non-residential buildings, which is 21.2% fewer than in the previous month. The total floor area of buildings was 88,559 m2, which is 18.5% less than was planned in October. The planned floor area of residential buildings was 8.4% smaller and the planned floor area of non-residential buildings was 29.1% smaller than in October.
In November 2015, almost all building permits (99.3% of all) were issued for new constructions; other building permits (0.7% of all) were issued for conversions. In comparison with October, the number of building permits for new constructions decreased by 12.9% and the planned floor area by 15.7%.
Fewer dwellings planned than in October
By issuing building permits, in November 2015 construction of 216 dwellings were planned, which is 11.8% fewer than in October. Almost all dwellings (91.2% of all) were planned in one-dwelling buildings; other dwellings (8.8%) were planned in two- and more dwelling buildings.
By issuing building permits in November 2015, 10.4% fewer newly built dwellings were planned than in October 2015 and the planned floor area of these dwellings decreased by 7.0%.
Most dwellings to be built in the Podravska statistical region
In November 2015 most dwellings were planned in the Podravska statistical region: 46 dwellings or 21.3% of all. All dwellings in this region will be built in one-dwelling buildings. The Podravska statistical region is followed by the Savinjska statistical region, where 28 dwellings or 13.0% of all dwellings will be built, and the Obalno-kraška statistical region, where 26 dwellings or 12.0% of all dwellings will be built. In other statistical regions fewer dwellings were planned, the fewest in the Koroška and Zasavska statistical regions (only 2 in each).
