In October 2015 the sentiment indicator was 0.2 of a percentage point higher at the monthly level and 3.9 percentage points higher at the annual level.

Sentiment indicator higher at the monthly level

In October 2015 (6.1 percentage points) the sentiment indicator was 0.2 of a percentage point higher than in September 2015 (6.0 percentage points). Compared to the long-term average, the indicator was 10.1 percentage points higher.

The sentiment indicator at the monthly level was higher mostly due to the increase in the manufacturing confidence indicator (by 0.9 of a percentage point), the services confidence indicator (by 0.6 of a percentage point) and the construction confidence indicator (by 0.2 of a percentage point). On the other hand, the lower value of the consumer confidence indicator (by 1.0 percentage point) and the retail trade confidence indicator (by 0.4 of a percentage point) reduced the rise of the sentiment indicator.

Sentiment indicator higher at the annual level

In October 2015 the sentiment indicator at the annual level increased by 3.9 percentage points.

The sentiment indicator at the annual level was higher mostly due to the increase in the services confidence indicator (by 2.3 percentage points), the manufacturing confidence indicator (by 1.6 percentage points) and the consumer confidence indicator (by 0.4 of a percentage point). The lower value of the construction confidence indicator (by 0.3 of a percentage point) and the retail trade confidence indicator (by 0.2 of a percentage point) reduced the rise of the sentiment indicator at the annual level.
