In June 2015 the sentiment indicator lower

In June 2015 the sentiment indicator was 0.1 of a percentage point lower at the monthly level and 5.4 percentage points higher at the annual level.

Sentiment indicator lower at the monthly level

In June 2015 (5.1 percentage points) the sentiment indicator was 0.1 of a percentage point lower than in May 2015 (5.2 percentage points). Compared to the long-term average, the indicator was 9.1 percentage points higher.

The decrease in the sentiment indicator at the monthly level was mostly due to the decrease in the retail trade confidence indicator (by 0.6 of a percentage point), the decrease in the services confidence indicator (by 0.3 of a percentage point) and the decrease in the manufacturing confidence indicator (by 0.1 of a percentage point). On the other hand, the higher value of the consumer confidence indicator and the construction confidence indicator reduced the fall of the sentiment indicator by 0.9 and 0.1 of a percentage point, respectively.


Sentiment indicator higher at the annual level

In June 2015 the sentiment indicator at the annual level increased by 5.4 percentage points.

The increase in the sentiment indicator at the annual level was mostly due to the increase in the consumer confidence indicator (by 3.0 percentage points), followed by the increases in the services confidence indicator (by 2.4 percentage points), the manufacturing confidence indicator (by 0.2 of a percentage point) and the retail trade confidence indicator (by 0.1 of a percentage point). The lower value of the construction confidence indicator reduced the rise of the sentiment indicator at the annual level by 0.3 of a percentage point.
