Average monthly earnings for March 2015 2.3% higher than in the previous month

Compared to the previous month, average monthly gross earnings for March 2015 were higher in nominal and real terms.

Average monthly gross earnings for March 2015 higher by 2.3% in nominal terms and by 1.4% in real terms than earnings for February 2015
Average monthly net earnings for March 2015 amounted to EUR 1,008.10. Compared to February 2015 they were higher by 1.8% in nominal terms and by 0.9% in real terms. Average monthly gross earnings for March 2015 amounted to EUR 1,550.33; compared to earnings for February 2015 they were higher by 2.3% in nominal terms and by 1.4% in real terms.

In the first quarter of 2015, compared to the same period in 2014, average monthly earnings were higher in nominal and real terms. Average monthly net earnings were higher in nominal terms by 0.2% and in real terms by 0.6%, while average monthly gross earnings were higher in nominal terms by 0.5% and in real terms by 0.9%.

Compared to the first quarter of 2014, average monthly gross earnings for the first quarter of 2015 increased in the private sector (by 2.7%), in the public sector (by 1.6%) and in the government sector (by 0.6%).

Compared to the previous month, average monthly gross earnings for March 2015 increased the most in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply activities and in Jugovzhodna Slovenia
Compared to February 2015, average monthly gross earnings for March 2015 increased the most in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply activities (by 7.7%), financial and insurance activities (by 7.1%), agriculture, forestry and fishing (by 5.4%) and information and communication activities (by 5.4%).

In the first quarter of 2015, compared to the same period in 2014, average monthly gross earnings increased the most in financial and insurance activities (by 3.9%), in information and communication (by 2.6%), and in manufacturing activities (by 2.1%). The most significant decrease was observed in mining and quarrying (by 9.2%).

Average monthly gross earnings for March 2015 in comparison with February 2015 increased in all statistical regions: the most in Jugovzhodna Slovenia (by 5.7%) and Zasavska (by 5.3%), and the least in Osrednjeslovenska (by 1.0%).
