Average gross earnings at registered natural persons slightly increased in nominal and real terms
Compared to earnings for August, average gross earnings for September 2025 were slightly higher in both nominal and real terms.

Average earnings of persons in paid employment by registered natural persons for September of this year amounted to EUR 1,571.25 gross and EUR 1,032.21 net. In nominal terms they were 0.4% and in real terms 0.8% higher than earnings for the previous month.
Compared to September last year, gross earnings increased on average in nominal terms by 5.6% and in real terms by 2.9%.
The highest monthly growth in mining and quarrying
On average, the highest earnings for September were paid to employees in human health and social work activities (EUR 2,081.06 gross and EUR 1,339.31 net). The lowest earnings were received in arts, entertainment and recreation (EUR 1,221.52 gross and EUR 804.80 net).
Compared to August, the highest growth of average gross earnings was recorded in mining and quarrying (by 8.2%).

When calculating the growth rates of average gross and net earnings, data on average earnings from the REK-O form are used as the basis for the comparison for the period from January 2024 on.
Data are not seasonally and calendar adjusted.
During the transition period after SKD 2025 (NACE Rev. 2.1) entering into force, statistical data will still be collected and published according to SKD 2008 (NACE Rev. 2). The transition periods will vary depending on the individual surveys.
