1,004,000 residents of Slovenia were employed in the 3rd quarter of 2025, which is about 1% more than in the previous quarter and also in the same period last year. 54% of employed persons were men.

In a year-to-year comparison, we also observed fewer self-employed (by 2.6%) and employees engaged in other (non-standard) forms of work (by 13.2%), as well as a decrease in unpaid family workers (also by 13.2%).
