Agricultural input prices slightly higher
Agricultural input prices increased again at the monthly and annual levels. In both comparisons, the prices of fertilizers went up the most.
Prices slightly higher at the monthly level
Agricultural inputs were on average 0.1% more expensive than in the previous month. Both the prices of goods and services currently consumed in agriculture (input 1), as well as of goods and services contributing to agricultural investment (input 2) increased by 0.1%.
In the first group (input 1), the highest price increase was recorded at fertilizers (by 1.3%) and the lowest at maintenance of materials (by 0.1%).
In the second group (input 2), the prices of materials remained unchanged, while the prices of buildings were higher by 0.4%.
Year-on-year also a price increase
Agricultural inputs were 1.4% more expensive than a year ago. Both the prices of goods and services currently consumed in agriculture as well as of goods and services contributing to agricultural investment went up by 1.4%.
Year-on-year, too, in the first group (input 1) the prices of fertilisers increased the most (by 11.4%) and in the second group (input 2) the prices of materials (by 1.6%).
