Roundwood purchase value in July higher both month-on-month and year-on-year
The total value of roundwood purchased from private forests in July was 13.3% higher than in June and 16.9% higher than a year ago.

The year-on-year growth in the total value of roundwood purchased from private forests increased by 16.9%. Sawlogs and veneer logs recorded a year-on-year value increase of 26.0%. The value of coniferous and oak sawlogs also increased, while the value of other sawlogs and veneer assortments decreased. The values of fuelwood and pulpwood were lower.

Compared to June, the purchase value was higher by 13.3% in total. It grew the most for coniferous sawlogs and veneer logs, followed by oak logs, for which the volume of purchase increased significantly. On the other hand, the value declined again for pulpwood (by 9.8%) and fuelwood (by 14.5%).
