At the monthly level, the value of construction put in place in December increased by 1.7%. As regards buildings, it went up by 5.8%, while as regards specialised construction activities and civil engineering it went down by 1.1% and by 0.2%, respectively.

Year-on-year, the value of construction put in place in December rose by 2.6%. However, it only went up as regards specialised construction activities, having increased by 15.8%, while as regards buildings and civil engineering it went down by 4.5% and by 2.1%, respectively.

The value of construction put in place in 2024 decreased by 9.0% over the previous year. As regards civil engineering, it went down by 12.5%, as regards buildings by 12.3% and as regards specialised construction activities by 2.6%.
