Average earnings for November 2024 at registered natural persons higher than earnings for the month before

Compared to earnings for October, both average gross and net earnings for November 2024 were higher: gross earnings in nominal terms by 2.7% and net earnings by 3.3%.

Average gross earnings of persons in paid employment by registered natural persons for November 2024 amounted to EUR 1,551.82. They were higher than for the previous month in nominal terms by 2.7% and in real terms by 2.0%. Average net earnings amounted to EUR 1,035.09 and compared to earnings for October they were higher in nominal terms by 3.3% and in real terms by 2.6%. The increase was mainly related to higher extra payments, such as the 13th month pay and the Christmas bonus.

Average gross earnings were also higher than earnings for November 2023 – in nominal terms by 6.2% and in real terms by 4.4%.

The highest in human health and social work activities

On average, the highest gross earnings for November were paid in human health and social work activities (EUR 2,228.31 or almost 44% more than the national average), where the highest monthly growth was also recorded, by 13.4%.

The lowest gross earnings were paid in arts, entertainment and recreation (EUR 1,184.22).
