METHODOLOGICAL NOTE
Experimental monthly estimates of the ILO unemployment rate are experimental statistics, so they are less reliable and should be used with caution.

They are calculated with a model that is prepared monthly based on quarterly data from the Labour force survey (source LFS), monthly data on persons in employment (source: DAK) and monthly data on registered unemployment (source: Employment Service of Slovenia, Register of the Unemployed).

Data for previous months are revised each month by adding new points to the time series, in accordance with the model calculations. Original data, seasonally adjusted data and the trend-cycle component are available.

Additional explanations are available in the methodological explanations.
