In 2024, import prices were 1.3% lower than a year before. Prices went down the most in the section mining and quarrying (by 8.1%) and increased the most in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning (by 58.3%).

In 2024, import prices decreased by 1.3% (in 2023 by 4,1%). The prices of products supplied from the euro area decreased by 0.5% and the prices of products imported from the non-euro area by 2.3%.
Prices went down the most in the section mining and quarrying (by 8.1%), with crude petroleum and natural gas prices having decreased by 10.9%. On the other hand, prices significally increased in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning (by 58.3%).

Compared to November 2024, import prices were 0.4% lower in December. The prices of products supplied from the euro area went down by 0.7%, while the prices of products imported from the non-euro area slightly increased.
Energy prices decreased by 1.2%, capital goods prices by 0.7%, intermediate goods prices by 0.2% and consumer goods prices by 0.1%.
The highest decrease was observed in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning (by 6.2%), and the highest increase in mining and quarrying (by 2.5%).
