Total market production higher, largest monthly increase in construction
The monthly increase in the total volume of production was influenced by all observed sections of activities except industry. On the other hand, production decreased at the annual level and at the level of the first eleven months of the year.
Up at the monthly level
In November, the total market production improved by 0.7% over the previous month. It increased the most in construction (by 9.5%) and decreased only in industry (by 1.4%).
Down year-on-year …
The total market production decreased by 0.8% compared to November 2023. It decreased the most in construction (by 4.2%) but increased in wholesale and retail trade (by 2.2%).
… and at the level of the first eleven months
Compared to the period between January and November 2023, the total market production went down by 0.5%. At this level, a decline was recorded in construction (by 10.1%), while in wholesale and retail trade and in service activities the production went up (by 2.5% and 1.5%, respectively).
