The value of construction put in place in October was 0.6% higher than in the previous month, but 13.4% lower than a year ago.

At the monthly level, the value of construction put in place in October increased by 0.6%. As regards specialised construction activities, it went up by 0.4%, while as regards buildings and civil engineering it went down by 5.7% and by 2.3%, respectively.
… but much lower than a year ago …
At the annual level, the value of construction put in place decreased by 13.4%. As regards buildings, it went down by 17.9%, as regards civil engineering by 14.3% and as regards specialised construction activities by 9.9%.
… and also down compared to the first ten months of 2023
The value of construction put in place from January to October decreased by 10.7% over the same period of last year. As regards civil engineering, it went down by 13.9%, as regards buildings by 13.1% and as regards specialised construction activities by 6.0%.
