Average earnings at registered natural persons slightly lower than earnings for August
Compared to earnings for August, both average gross and net earnings for September were lower: in nominal and in real terms by 0.2%.

Average gross earnings of persons in paid employment by registered natural persons for September 2024 amounted to EUR 1,488.61, and average net earnings to EUR 989.36. They were lower than for the previous month: both in nominal and in real terms by 0.2%.
The highest in human health and social work activities
On average, the highest gross earnings for September were paid in human health and social work activities (EUR 1,958.57 or 30% more than the national average), followed by professional, scientific and technical activities (EUR 1,697.39) and mining and quarrying (EUR 1,681.78). The lowest gross earnings were received in arts, entertainment and recreation (EUR 1,129.10).
As regards sections of activities, no greater deviation was recorded in the monthly movement. Compared to August, gross earnings for September grew the most in education, by 1.6%.
